With the 2011 market year coming to the end, tax sellers have only a few hours left in the United States to sell their position to get a tax loss on their tax return. Some sellers came in late this week to sell their positions. Selling their stocks late may cause price fluctuations to the downside especially for micro caps. There are laser companies, medical device companies and other technology companies out there that offer better products but are faced with a capital crunch. Large companies know that and that's how they are able to inflict damage. Take for example Lumenis, one large laser company, based in Israel,that was able to fiddle with Trimedyne ( TMED ), a micro cap headed by Chairman Marvin Loeb and his family. The company claims to have a better product but Lumenis was able to sell more as well as infringe on Trimedyne's fibers. Immagine that Loeb was a poor man. Trimedyne might not exist today. Instead, Loeb injected family money into the company and went after monster Lumenis. 38TH STREET AND 23RD AVE A GARBAGE BLOCK IN ASTORIA SAYS RESIDENT

Astoria , New York

One resident fed up with crime in Astoria , calls his 38th Street a Garbage Block and wants to move himself out of it. This happened after a double shooting that occurred near him earlier this morning. The resident was interviewed by NY1 News shortly after the incident. He mentioned that the block was once a beautiful block. The block was closed to traffic to allow the police to investigate the shooter who is in custody. Apparently his wife and daughter of Russian descent, were shot and are at Elmhurst Hospital. The daughter is mentioned to be in critical condition. The crime wave continues to plague the 114th precinct after political leaders have vowed to fight all kinds of crimes in Astoria. " Unfortunately this a domestic case and that could happen to rich people in a rich neighborhood too. We believe that the resident should reconsider his opinion because the block considered as one of the safest in Astoria since it is located in the heart of the Ditmars area, a safer portion of Astoria for its Deputy Inspector. Black Friday or perhaps Black Thursday night for some stores has begun early for US retailers. Best Buy on Northern Boulevard in Woodside , Queens had between one thousand to two thousand early bird shoppers in the midnight hour early Friday morning. Target in College Point had an almost full parking lot of cars. There were people on line but I was able to get in after 10 minutes. A security guard advised that the line was very long before the store opened at midnight. More than a thousand shoppers were at that location too. There were many items on sale. " I believe that people are coming out to buy hoping for a good deal and they are getting a lukewarm welcome from retailers. In attendance at the event, we had NYS assemblywoman Aravella Simotas , spokespeople for NYS senator Mike Gianaris and US congresswoman Carolyn Maloney , INCA USA president John De Gennaro and former Astoria city manager George Delis. Many presidents of various clubs that are associated to the Federation of Italian Americans of Queens also attended the event. URAGANO IRENE PUO' PROVOCARE DANNI A NEW YORK CITTA'

DELTA E ALITALIA, PERCHE' VIAGGIARE IN ITALIA?

Uno smarrimento di valigie che e' durato parecchi giorni per due delle tre valigie a bordo di un volo Alitalia precisamente la 611 da New York JFK alle ore 740 pm per Roma Fiumicino. La terza non e' stata ancora trovata. FPG rimprovera la Delta e l'Alitalia per mancanza di sicurezza sulle valigie. Dopo un cambiamento di volo per esser in ritardo, la Delta ha messo i viaggiatori su un volo Alitalia con partenza ben due ore dopo assicurandoli che le valigie sarebbero state messe sul nuovo volo. " Le due valigie sono arrivate oggi a Napoli dopo ben 6 giorni ed erano semi distrutte e manomesse. Il cio' prova che le compagnie aeree non prestano attenzione come si dovrebbe per le valigie dei viaggiatori. Il mese scorso, un commercialista di New York ha ricevuto nella posta, una scatola indirizzato a lui, ma ovviamente appertenente ad un'agenzia del governo federale degli Stati Uniti. La scatola conteneva fino a tre dozzine targhette auto appartenenti alla Homeland Security, l'agenzia che protegge contro il terrorismo. Antonio Guadagnino di Astoria, New York ha chiesto aiuto al senatore di New York, Mike Giannaris che ha iniziato le indagini. Guadagnino ha suggerito piu' controlli per la posta federale per il semplice motivo che se le targhette fossero arrivate alla persona sbagliata, poteva essere una cosa seria.
