Un mese fa, l'italo-americano, oriundo dalla Lucania ( Basilicata ),Bill De Blasio era in Astoria a salutare tutti i residenti della contea del Queens. Chiedeva di essere votato sindaco della citta' di New York per cambiare le cose perche' lui vuole rappresentare tutti, non solo i ricchi come Michele Bloomberg. Bloomberg, il piu' ricco della storia dei sindaci di New York aveva cambiato la legge a tre mandati per farsi leggere la terza volta. Nei suoi 12 anni al governo, il costo della vita e' salito piu' di Wall Street dal prezzo del parcheggio municipale al costo della tariffa della metropolitana. L'anno scorso alla festa di Columbus Day a Gracie Mansion il sindaco Mike Bloomberg aveva chiesto agli italo americani all'evento se ci fosse una persona italo americana in grado di prendere il suo posto. Certamente Bill De Blasio ha sentito e New York gli ha il 73 percento dei voti. "Siamo contenti di vedere uno come De Blasio al commando della Grande Mela. Lui aiutera' a tutti" dice FPG. Ho avuto il modo di incontrarlo in Astoria. Gli ho detto che conosco Gianluca Galletto e lui ha risposto che lui e un grande amico suo. BerlusconiItalia blogspot monitera' il nuovo sindaco.

A motor biker gang has beaten up an Asian SUV driver who has a struck one of their own and left the scene because he feared for his and family safety. No wonder, even the New York Police Department guys under the command of Ray Kelly can watch and not do anything because they are afraid of pursuing motor bikers. Yes, those unruly barbarians. Big guys with tattoos and large beards, aggressively clothed with a mean look with nasty eyes. No wonder, we are seeing more and more of them on the roads of the City of New York. " Driving in this city is crazy. Not only you have to deal with aggressive taxi drivers and unyielding pedestrians but you also have motorcycles zooming at supersonic speeds." says a resident in the Astoria section of Queens. The NYPD of the 114th Precinct of Cirabisi and company are good only at catching gullible guys with no seat belts ( an easy win win ticket for the men in blue uniform). Stephen Cirabisi, the top guy at the 114th Precinct in Astoria says a pursuit of the motor biker could lead to injury,damage and possibly a costly lawsuit to the NYPD. But, with the help of residents who can identify these wild unruly beasts of the road, he can have his men get to them in a trap at their living locations, thus causing no damages and no lawsuits against the NYPD and the city. Two of the motor bikers were arrested thanks to the video shot and posted by one of the motor bikers. The motor biker struck by the SUV is in serious condition.

Pertanto ho invitato la delegazione del Popolo della Libertà al governo a valutare l'opportunità di presentare immediatamente le proprie dimissioni per non rendersi complici, e per non rendere complice il Popolo della Libertà, di una ulteriore odiosa vessazione imposta dalla sinistra agli italiani.

L'ufficio centrale del Patronato Inca Usa e' sito a Melville. Il Presidente Giovanni De Gennaro ha atteso la celebrazione.

This has been, perhaps, a once in a lifetime storm that has caused damage to a large chunk of the United States. For the New York area, it has been also a storm with a significant loss of life. All New Yorkers have felt the effect of this storm, even those that had to wait at the gas stations for hours to order to get some gas
for their vehicles and generators. We must pray and hope for better times ahead but always be prepared for what Mother Nature throws our way.

* FISCAL CLIFF PRESSURE AND A DISORGANIZED QE3 AHEAD OF THE ELECTIONS   CAN SEND SHIVERS DOWN WALL STREET.

We have enjoyed a good rise in the markets for many months. No summer doldrums in 2012 but we had a mid spring pullback in between this rise that began more than 13 months ago. Dow 10,700 to Dow 13,600 is 2900 point increase or 27 percent rise. That is huge considering that we are in a multi year rally that began in 2009 from 6500 level or 7000 plus point add on to this 30 stock elite index. So while Wall Street is getting more excited on stock prices lately, the enhanced rally caused by QE3 may have come as a sign of weakness from the Fed. With no power of easing anymore, the Fed is trying new ways of sustaining this economy. Buying distressed mortgages sounds complicated to me. Whether it works or not in the long run, an imbalance in stock prices has been created in the short term. The elections come in with Obama leading the race and a Wall Street bull for most of his presidency. And international instability is something that could come into play at crucial times such as presidential elections. Last year we had a good October, this year I expect the opposite. So if the Dow drops more than 1000 points in coming weeks, don't worry unless something more serious develops. A strong support area at Dow 12000 should provide buying oppurtunities for the long term bulls.
